Panoramic tour from Mera to Rassa
Duration: about 5 hours
Description
Our tour starts from Scopello mt.600 s.l.m. (possibility to use the chairlift or transfer). Climb at altitude, between 1600/1800 m crossing green pastures passing the Alpe di Mera among magnificent rhododendron and blueberry shrubs up to Colle d'Ovago, below Monte Ometto. A suggestive view of Monte Rosa guides the route
Through Alpe Il Pizzo, located on a grassy balcony that juts out over the Valsesia offering a spectacular panorama, we will reach Alpe Sorbella, from here the descent will begin with a dozen of hairpin bends reaching the bridge that crosses the Sorba stream, up to Campello di Rassa
Possible lunch in collaboration with the Heidi Al Campello restaurant in Rassa
