Description

The Artogna stream is a major right-bank tributary of the Sesia River, flowing through an untouched natural environment. To reach the entry point, you'll hike up the final stretch of the valley for about 40 minutes along a beautiful panoramic trail that runs above the stream.

Along the way, you can admire the Tinaccio waterfall, one of the most impressive abseils you’ll encounter during the canyoning route. After an initial short section with no significant elevation changes, the stream takes on a constant slope, with drops of 20, 25 meters or more that create amphitheaters hidden from ordinary hikers.

This excursion includes all the most spectacular and thrilling elements this sport has to offer: tall waterfalls, natural pools, and long, adrenaline-filled toboggans carved into the rock by thousands of years of water flow.

The exit of the full route is near an old stone bridge, from where a short walk leads to the vans that will take us back to Monrosa.
